The Mercedes-Benz A 45 (S) AMG 4MATIC + is a whole new generation in the
automotive world. Akrapovič has developed an exhaust system that
harmonizes sound with performance! Offering a stunning sensory
experience, this lightweight exhaust is beautifully crafted from high
quality titanium and features an eye-catching design of two pairs of
titanium and carbon fiber tailpipes. The flap control manages the
personality of the sound and is controlled by our proprietary control
kit electronics. AMG Dynamic Select allows the driver to choose the
level of sportiness through AMG Dynamic Select between a comfortable
everyday vehicle with a smooth sound that enhances the vehicle's engine
tones without discomfort or drone for the occupants, and a race-ready
acoustic experience with deep mid-range tones and rich, high-frequency
sounds in the upper rev range to enhance the shifting experience with
amazing sound on overdrive! By using titanium and a different
configuration, the exhaust is lighter than the original. The design and
construction of the exhaust results in optimized power and torque
figures across the entire rev range with 6.4 kW more at 6400 rpm and 9.1
Nm more at 6700 rpm. The optimized flow path of the exhaust gases
results in greater tuning potential, which can be further realized with
the optional downpipe set (SS). ECE type approval applies to vehicles
with petrol/gasoline particulate filters. When installing the optional
downpipe set (SS), the ECE type approval for the Evolution Line (Titan)
exhaust system is no longer valid and an ECU remapping must be carried
out. The link pipe set UAKL-ME/SS/3 + the control kit UAKP-HF1528 is
mandatory for the use of the Slip-On UAKS-ME/T/1H. Due to packaging
requirements, the system is divided into two codes.
