With the VFX-WR 06, SHOEI pushes the radical nature of the construction and design of its predecessor even further. State-of-the-art shell construction technology enables the shaping for a highly stable and at the same time lightweight helmet shell with a futuristic-aggressive look. Continuous contours from the visor across the helmet shell to the back of the head ensure stability of the shell, perfect guidance of the goggle strap and an incomparable look. The new, integrated safety system M.E.D.S. (Motion Energy Distribution System) ensures the best possible reduction of rotational energy in the event of a fall. A 6-layer composition of glass fibers, organic fibers and high-performance fiber materials forms the basis of the AIM+ outer shell (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) of the SHOEI VFX-WR 06. Together with a polystyrene core system composed of several elements with different absorption capacities and the new Motion Energy Distribution System (M.E.D.S), the helmet shell provides optimum impact protection, while keeping the overall weight of the helmet relatively low. In the multi-piece EPS core of the SHOEI VFX-WR 06, flexibly connected inner shell elements reduce the risk of injury in the event of an impact by reducing rotational energy. The chin strap with double-D closure is easily adjustable and keeps the helmet securely in place. The EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) facilitates the removal of the cheek pads in an emergency, allowing for gentle helmet removal.The SHOEI VFX-WR 06 meets the requirements of the new test standard for motorcycle helmets ECE-R 22.06. With 4 different outer shell sizes (XS-S | M | L | XL-XXL), the SHOEI VFX-WR 06 offers a wide range of sizes for adult or youth wearers and the optimal mix of lowest possible helmet weight and maximum stability. It contributes with its mass centralization noticeably to the relief of the neck muscles and allows a concentrated, focused, the neck muscles sparing ride hard at the limit, over many laps on the motocross track. Contoured for highly effective ventilation, the head pad and three-dimensionally pre-shaped cheek pads with their quick-drying and skin-friendly covers made of Max-Dry material, as well as the chin strap pad, are fully removable and washable. For individual adjustment of the SHOEI VFX-WR 06, head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses. 7 ventilation inlets provide the wearer with sufficient fresh air for maximum athletic performance. 8 exhaust outlets transport stale air outside. The large nose cover of the SHOEI VFX-WR 06 is equipped with a metal grille and a replaceable filter insert to prevent dust, dirt and stones from entering. The radically designed, three-dimensionally shaped outer shell of the SHOEI VFX-WR 06 is highly dimensionally stable thanks to its ribbed structure and offers reliable goggle strap guidance. The helmet shield, seamlessly integrated into the contour of the helmet shell, corresponds with its ventilation openings. In SHOEI's range of accessories, cheek pads and head pads are available in various sizes and thicknesses to replace the original pads or to customize the helmet. Also a chin strap pad, a mud guard, an anti-reflective sticker and mounting screws for the helmet shield, as well as filter inserts for the mouthpiece. With helmet shields and mouthpieces in a variety of colors and decors, the SHOEI VFX-WR 06 can be customized. Included with the SHOEI VFX-WR 06 are a mud guard and replacement screws to secure the helmet shield. Also included are an anti-reflective sticker (for helmets with a white helmet shield), SHOEI logo stickers and an original SHOEI helmet bag for gentle storage of the helmet. In the manual of the helmet as well as in the brochure "Correct use of your helmet" you will find valuable information about the use, maintenance and care of the SHOEI VFX-WR 06.
